Each ticket is scored once and wins the best tier it lands in. A tier nobody hits keeps its share in the pot for next time.
A round takes half an hour. Every ticket in it is scored against a random number published by drand — a beacon the round picks in advance, which does not exist yet while you can still enter. Beacons here are posted by a relayer quorum until the chain can check signatures itself.
